My dentist was very gentle, explaining every step and making sure I felt comfortable. If anything was wrong, they immediately stopped to help out. I had a great experience!

UCI dental clinic is the absolute worst dental clinic I’ve ever witnessed. Doctors are always late and when they actually do the treatment plan they change prices on you mid treatment saying, oh we didn’t see this before so now we have to charge you 2000$ more than your initial treatment. They also do not accommodate to students who work full time and don’t have conventional schedules where you can just lose your whole day off of their own mistakes. Save your money and energy and go somewhere else please your wallet and patience will thank you.

I called in to ask what best practice is when you've been exposed to covid and don't feel well. All the secretary was focused on was if I didn't come in I would be charged a fee of $80 (it's Monday so I wouldn't be able to contact them over the weekend and noone can predict if they start to show potential symptoms of covid). She asked me if I had a fever which I don't. She also told me to take a rapid test and said if it's negative I should come in if I don't want to be charged. I follow all(!) instructions that were given over the phone. Then when I came in I informed the dentist what I've told the secretary. She then sends me home after she's asked me what symptoms I have and I tell her I have a headache, I'm nauseous, and I had a small irritation of my throat this morning. When I return to the secretary to set up a new appointment she then informs me I'll still be charged the $80 because I didn't inform her about the specific symptoms (!) how on earth would I know it would make the difference between being charged $80 cancelation fee or not whether I tell them I have symptoms or if I tell them the exact specifics when I'm not being told this and how would I know what exactly the

All the one star comments are correct - the X ray hurts and the examination was rough. The doctor came for 5 mins to explain the treatment plans that have a quote price of $1.5k (patient) and left immediately when I felt reluctant to proceed.
